Clint Hooks, a native Texan (yes, a real Texan), born in Oak Cliff, Dallas Texas is the heartbeat of Don't Tell Mama.  He keeps the groove going with the constant beat of the drums.  Clint started playing drums at the age of eleven, and has never stopped.  Since then he has performed with numerous acts all around; anywhere from John Nitzinger to Robert Ealey.  He has a great passion for all types and styles of music.  A quiet, timid, kinda guy, Clint usually sits back at the drums with a big smile on his face and keeps the beat going, but given the opportunity to do a little drum solo, or sing a song or two, and you'll be asking yourself "Wow! Who was that?!?"  Then Clint will set back and smile again and say "hey, Don't Tell Mama"......
